The Project

In this creative exchange, students used technology to bridge the distance of 9,000 miles/14,300 kilometers and 9 1/2 time zones between their schools to teach each other about their lives and their days. One focus was on the mandala, a geometric figure that represents the universe in Hinduism. American students tried their hand at making original mandalas, while Indian students gifted their American partners with handmade Rakhi bracelets to celebrate Raksha Bandhan, the festival of brotherhood and love.
