The Project:

Students and teachers from the USA and Ireland got to meet and interact virtually with their peers overseas through this collaboration. Irish teaching artists Orla Kenny and Ann Henderson came to South Florida, bringing an Irish student art exhibit that was displayed for the public at the West Palm Beach student gallery EG². Using video conferencing, they led creative, collaborative workshops between students in South Florida and those in Sligo and Ballydown, Ireland. They also led an engaging professional development session between teachers in the two nations. Two additional teacher workshops were provided by Susan Hyatt and teaching artist Lesley Davison.
